Darien Sewer Panel Holds Rates Flat, Tightens Appeals

Darien's Sewer Commission held sewer rates flat and adopted a rule tying fee appeals to sump pump compliance. Chairman Greg J. Flaherty's panel kept the standard charge at $7.50 per 100 cubic feet and the minimum charge at $291.43 a year, both 0 percent changes effective October 1.
